DADDY MY HERO - Happy Father's Day

💪💪💪This is one of my favourite emojis and today, being Father's Day makes me love it even more. The infographic above describes who a father is to a young child and I believe all adults once passed through a childhood stage so we can flashback through our childhood and recall how our dads were indeed special to us.

I was quite impressed today to see how much fathers were celebrated by so many 😀 someone even said, it's going to be Father's "week" and not "day", I love that 💕 I believe fathers deserve to be well celebrated too for the significant role they play as the head of the family.

 A father's role in the upbringing of children cannot be undermined. Children raised by responsible fathers that are supportive and caring always turn out well in life. This is not to belittle single mums in any way. A lot of single mums have also given their all to raise children who eventually turn out to be great in our society as well. However, you'd agree with me that it's easier when two work together in raising children than just one person. 

As fathers are celebrated today, I appeal to all men to be responsible for the families they have created and the children entrusted to them by God. Distributing children everywhere and not being accountable for your seeds can lead to destruction and this comes with strong repercussions as well.

Above all, I want to wish you all a happy Father's Day and thank you for all you do for us, mummies, the kids, extended family, and the nation at large. We love and appreciate you dearly 😍
