A Brighter Nigeria Perspective

A lot has been happening in recent times, especially in the past few weeks in our beloved nation, Nigeria. From the awkward cash crunch to the weird election process, most Nigerians are in deep thought about what the future holds for our country.  I have been in reflection mode for quite some time now. Thinking through the transition from old naira notes to the new and the torture this process has brought to the lives of many.

It's sad but amazing how the rejected stone has become the chief cornerstone. I remember when the new notes were first released, it was disdained by many, and all sorts of ridiculing followed in the preceding weeks. Everyone said the new notes were no match compared to the old notes. All kinds of funny skits were released. Little did we know that the time will come when people will beg and do anything just to have a #1,000 note in their pockets.

It's surprising really but true ๐Ÿ‘ŒThere are so many lessons to be learnt from the ongoing situation apart from the setbacks. Everyone has suddenly become very prudent with their spending. People now spend less and save more since there is no cash for frivolities and wasteful spending. Those who are in the habit of begging and borrowing suddenly derived wisdom not to beg anyone for money since there is no cash anywhere, how hilarious that is ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Also, nobody is showing off their wealth these days, everyone is just cool and modest. I think we have all learnt a thing or two from this.

Talking about petty traders and bus conductors who quickly developed adaptive mechanisms to get POS machines or download banking apps to make their daily sales ๐Ÿ’ฐ coming is highly commendable.

Even amid the storm, there is always something to be thankful for.  Let's not give up hope. Behold, there's always light at the end of every tunnel. Nigeria will be built by Nigerians ๐Ÿ‘Œ

GOD BLESS NIGERIA ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

ALL IS WELL.
