HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLESSING EPUM

Ok...okay...! It's official💯 Happy Birthday to me...💃💃 I-REP every June 17th and this year I'm super grateful to God for how far he has kept me and his unfailing love.

Thinking through how the year 2022 has been so far, especially in our beloved country Nigeria, there is every reason to be grateful to God for the gift of life. 

As an educator, this year has been with mixed feelings for me with several sad news of school children losing their young innocent lives due to negligence, hostility, bullying or violent attacks. Several schools were shut down this year and I can only imagine how many teachers have lost their jobs. Some teachers simply resigned honourably from the teaching profession for the fear of encountering a situation that would forever mar their reputation.

These recent occurrences got me thinking and I began to ask myself some personal questions like, "Who is Blessing Epum?", "What do I love doing the most?", "What makes me happy?" then I convinced myself that indeed I'm in the right profession. Teaching is my life. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves these questions to be really sure we are on the right track.

So I'll like to leave you with a question, "Who is a teacher?" In celebration of my birthday today, I'll be giving airtime credits to the first 10 people to submit a concise and captivating definition.
